Our History – Deregulation of the Grain Industry

GRAINassist was established in 2003, when Alastair Beaumont left Graincorp to begin his own independent marketing service, GRAINassist.

The exceptional service has seen the business grow from a one man show in Swan Hill, Victoria, to a company with more than 35 employees nationwide, offering grain growers an independent grain marketing service.

Many of the current team members of GRAINassist Marketing have been with the company since its beginnings and have seen the industry and business evolve in this time. Our brokers have a full understanding of the importance of grain marketing to farmers, and strive to achieve the best results for each of our growers.

GRAINassist evolved from a small grain broking firm to a company that offers a grain marketing service, encompassing all aspects of the grain marketing industry.

As the business grows and services advance, an increasing number of growers have signed up and reaped the benefits of the GRAINassist Marketing service that our brokers provide.
